Podcast at Trek.fm
I had a short-lived podcast at Trek.fm called The Briar Patch on socioeconomics and Star Trek. Unfortunately ended, I do hope to recreate a podcast of the same subject, with a new co-host. We struggled a little with whether the podcast was to be like most on that network, light and mostly about Star Trek, or as I am more naturally inclined, about the social science as much as the Trek, perhaps with a style more like that of Russ Robert's EconTalk or Tyler Cowen's Conversations With Tyler. In any case, I hope to ressurect some form of podcast, series of videos, or other form of media on this topic (look out as well for a book on the subject, quite possibly).
Lectures at Marginal Revolution University
I created a series of videos and course materials for an online course at Marginal Revolution University on the Economic History of the Soviet Union. The course is still available, and consists of about 2 hours worth of short videos, plus readings for many of them, questions, and a quiz at the end. See my books for greater detail, exploration, and analysis of the subject.
